At the Sturbridge Host Hotel Ballroom
The Stag King's Masque is a celebratory journey into another realm.
With a masquerade dance and ritual, we travel into the forest at night to the court of the Stag King, where we join the creatures of the Otherworld at midwinter to revel and celebrate the darkest time of the year.
Please come in a wintry costume to immerse yourself in the magic of the Stag King’s court.
The evening will feature music from Kidimandi and live painting with Martin Bridge, Jesse Massaro and other artists.
The dancing is preceded by a Feast with music and merriment featuring some of our best community musicians including Will and Lynn Rowan, Donovan and Isobel Arthen, Sam Long and Sarah Stockwell Arthen with her troupe of Wassailers!
The meal will include vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Winter Feast Menu
Carrot and curry Bisque (Vegetarian and Gluten Free)
Baby Arugula with Peaches, Nectarines, Chevre and Local Cider Vinaigrette ( vegetarian and gluten free)
Grilled Chicken Florentine with Garlic Wine Sauce, Roma Tomatoes and Spinach (gluten free)
Grilled Marinated Flank Steak with Balsamic Roasted Red Peppers (gluten free)
Quinoa and Sweet Corn Stuffed Bell Peppers (vegan and gluten free)
Baked Penne with White Beans, Tomatoes and Basil (vegan and gluten free)
Garlicky Green Beans with Fresh Dill (vegan and gluten free)
Flourless Chocolate Torte (vegan and gluten free)
Baker Bill's Apple Crisp with Whipped Cream (gluten free)
A cash bar will be available.
A Feast of Lights full weekend registration includes the Feast and the Masque.
Tickets for the Feast and Masque are $50 and are available in advance online or by mail in application.
Tickets at the door for the Masque only will be $18, (or $15 if you come in seasonal costume! )
The Community Room and Merchant Hall will be open to all on Saturday night before the Feast - from 5:30 - 7pm.
